A battling but dominant 2-0 victory over Yorkshire saw our Men's Over 65s claim the National Title at Lee Valley this weekend. Serving as the perfect warm-up for the women's 1st XI to clinch the Premier Division Title in Nottingham later in the day, a brace from Steve Springthorpe aka "Scottish Steve" saw off the white roses and added yet more silverware to the Sonning Lane Trophy Cabinet.

Congratulations to Mike Pell (Capt) and his team of merry men for another wonderful result for the Club. One benefit of being part of that particular group comes very much in the form of Tim Green - proprietor of the unparalleled Baskerville Arms in Lower Shiplake...where the celebrations went long into the night!
