The Ladies 1A's comprehensively won England Hockey 2XI Plate final today at Lee Valley.

They beat Chelmsford 6-0 in a bit of a one sided game.

Emma Thomas opened the scoring with a rebound off the keeper in the first 15 mins, quickly followed by Captain Alys Richards putting the ball past the keeper. Rachel Muncey joined in and with 5 mins to play in the first half flicked the ball over the keeper.

Within seconds of the second half starting Rachel converts a penalty corner to make it 4-0. Fen Holland then joined in and scored twice before the final whistle.

Congratulations to the whole squad, Captain Alys Richards and Coach Damon Hill, for finishing their season with a fantastic flourish !
