Having secured promotion back into the Premier Division following the pandemic the team aims to build and solidify our place in the league.

The 1st XI plays a key part in representing Reading Hockey Club. We have a great history in the league and it is important to us to maintain that high level status, not only for us as a team, but to represent the whole club at the highest level.

The team is young and bursting at the seams with talent. With world-class coaches Jason Lee and Danny Newcombe, we have huge potential to become as great as previous Reading 1st XI’s.
