About the team
Veterans' hockey at Reading is designed to suit all ages and standards. We run two over 40 teams which play in the London League Divisions 1 and 2 (we won League one last year). We also run over 50 and over 60 teams which play in the London League in the Super Vets and Grand Masters divisions. The Club Over 40's reached the National semi-finals and the Over 50's won the National tittle winning 3 - 0 against Harleston Magpies.
The top team, the Reading Rustlers, boasts four double Olympians and a host of past Internationals. All four teams are proud to contain players returning from success in last year’s World Cup.
Each team has its own captain but new players should contact Nick Barton who manages all four sides 07733364433. We are also looking for keen and qualified umpires.
